Mariupol Museum joined the meeting "Remember Ukraine"

On January 24, an open meeting of the public organization "Remember Ukraine" with participants of the actions in support of prisoners of war and missing persons "Lviv Family Azovstal" - the community of Lviv families of the Mariupol garrison - took place in Lviv . The event was organized in partnership with the Mariupol Museum.

The meeting was attended by families of prisoners of war, defenders of Mariupol, internally displaced persons, as well as active participants in public initiatives. They spoke about the experience of Lviv families of the Mariupol garrison - a community that has become an important space of mutual support, memory, and public action since 2022. Special attention was paid to further cooperation with the Mariupol Museum and the “City of Mary” team. The meeting visitors were also introduced to the exhibition “Our Sea”, which is ongoing in the Lviv space Mariupol Reborn.

During the discussion, they mentioned the initiatives implemented in Lviv since 2022: car races, cooperation with the First Theater, sporting events, the "In the Window" campaign, as well as the involvement of local institutions in the movement in support of prisoners of war and missing persons. These developments are planned to be widely covered in order to unite society around important social topics and understand the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Mariupol Museum will work on the preparation and dissemination of this information in the format of information booklets.
